APICAT is committed to building community capacity in addressing tobacco control issues. APICAT has provided support to coalition members to participate with the Asian Pacific Partners for Empowerment, Advocacy, and Leadership (APPEAL) Program, and the Washington State Cross-Cultural Leadership Institute.

Fellows who have participated in APPEAL’s Leadership Program and the Cross-Cultural Leadership Institute are eligible to apply to APICAT for $2,500 stipends to implement tobacco control projects in their community.
