Effective January 1, 2011, the Asian Pacific Islander Coalition Against Tobacco (APICAT) is partnering with Dr. Shu-Hong Zhu and the California Smokers’ Helpline to offer Asian-language Quitline services  to Washington State. Telephone counseling services will be available in Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin), Korean and Vietnamese languages.

Each language has a direct call-in number:

-  Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin): 1.800.838.8917 (華州免費電話戒煙輔助專線)

-  Korean: 1.800.556.5564 (한국어 금연 상담)

- Vietnamese: 1.800.778.8440 (Đường Dây Cai Thuốc Lá Miễn Phí)

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 9am-9pm, with a 24-hour voicemail service available.
